Jaguars launch ground-breaking fan referral program

Posted Feb 14, 2012

Season ticket owners paid cash for referring multi-year buyers and could win a trip to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans

The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced a ground-breaking “Refer-A-Fan” ticket sales referral program that will pay existing season ticket owners up to $100 per seat when new fans they refer to the Jaguars buy a multi-year season ticket.  And season ticket owners who refer fans who go on to purchase any new season ticket will also be entered in a drawing to win a trip to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans next year.

Season ticket owners who refer a fan who purchases a multi-year season ticket in the general bowl at EverBank Field on the new 30-Game Plan for the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons can receive a $25 cash reward from the Jaguars for each seat sold if the referred fan mentions the referring season ticket owner’s Jaguars ID to the Jaguars ticket office at the time of purchase.

Similarly, season ticket owners who refer a fan who goes on to purchase a multi-year premium seat in the Touchdown Club or Terrace Suite at EverBank Field will receive $100 per seat.

Current season ticket owners will also be paid cash back for any new multi-year seats they add to their own accounts and will get $25 for every new general bowl seat they add and $100 for every new premium seat they add. New 2012 season ticket owners are not eligible for the referral fee for any seats they add to their own accounts in 2012.

Existing season ticket owners will receive the cash referral payment only when these steps are followed:

  1. The new multi-year seat purchaser must provide the referring season ticket owner’s JAG ID at the time of purchase. Fans can purchase season tickets by calling (904) 633-2000.
  2. The referring season ticket owner must be a current 2012 season ticket owner and be current and compliant with any payments at the time of referral.
  3. The referring season ticket owner must have completed a W-9 form online at www.jaguars.com/W9.

Referral fees earned from any valid referral will be paid out to the referring season ticket owner within 60 days after the initial payment or payment in full is received from the new season ticket owner, subject to Jaguars validating the purchase of the new multi-year season tickets.

Corporations, associations and charitable organizations will also be allowed to create a JAG ID for their entity to earn cash for new multi-year agreements purchased by their employees, members or contributors.

In addition to receiving cash back, all season ticket owners who refer a new one-year or new multi-year season ticket buyer will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a trip for two to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans next February.

Note: The Jaguars 30-Game plan allows season ticket owners to select a multi-year agreement to lock in the price of their season tickets at 2012 prices for the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons. The 30-Game Plan is available until April 30, 2012.

For more information on the Refer-A-Fan Program fans should call (904) 633-2000.
