JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars continued to address the wide receiver position Monday.
A week after seven wide receivers missed time during organized team activities, the Jaguars on Monday signed rookie free agent Brandon Wimberly, a wide receiver who played collegiately at the University of Nevada.
The team released offensive tackle
Wimberly (6-feet-3, 225 pounds), who participated as a workout player in the team’s May 16-17 rookie minicamp at the Florida Blue Health and Wellness practice fields, caught 97 passes for 989 yards and eight touchdowns for Nevada last season.
