Even though there was no football the past week, it was still an exciting one for the players, fans and media. Fans received their tickets for the Summer Mega Event and the 2014 season. Players spent time in the community and weighed in on news around the sports world. Additionally, with Jaguars Owner Shad Khan's birthday on July 18, the team's digital media department asked fans to tweet using #HappyBdayMrKhan.

The Summer Mega Event is this month and the preseason is only a few weeks away. Fans received their tickets this week and did not hesitate to show off their team pride in a variety of ways.

Around Duval

A driving force behind the group known as #JaguarsTwitter, it was only a matter of time before a @Duval_Doom tweet made The Social Snapshot. He posted this photo of a USA Jaguars t-shirt. American and Jaguars spirit is a great combo any time of year.

Season Ticket Members received their tickets to the Mega Event. The event includes a Carrie Underwood concert, Fulham vs D.C. United match and the unveiling of the world’s largest video boards. Instagram user @kgsologirl5000 uploaded this image with the caption: “So pumped for this!!!!! It's going to be so amazing!!! #seasonticketperks #jaguars #jags365 #jagsnation”

Teal Christmas

@josephpall shared this photo on Instagram with the caption: "Season tickets baby!!! Section 229, corner endzone looking at the brand new video boards!! #jaguars #wearejaguars"

Great name and great photo.

A big part of #JaguarsTwitter, @themcwale, not only tweeted about receiving his season tickets, but he also posted on Instagram. He said, "Today was a good day. #jaguars #duval #ilovejax"

There is no age requirement for being a Jaguars fan. @heydvillo posted this with the caption: "One of my favorite days of the year! #allthetickets #jaguars #dtwd."

@bpassa29 was sorting through his mail and found quite the gem.
